7 Positive Things about this week

Long time no post! My best friend Jaz (beingjaz.blogspot) created an idea for blogging, write about 7 positive things that have happened in the recent past, so here we are.  I’m going to add pictures too :)

1. I have had a lovely week with my family in North Yorkshire, and the weather was really nice too :) IMG_9766

2. I have rediscovered my love for flat caps.

3. I’ve redone my poster for MEAW :) Which will hopefully have a good circuit around facebook like last year!

4. I have some really, really amazing friends.  You know who you are, and i love you <3

5. Getting back in my own bed <3 admittedly, i’d prefer if it was only for the night and not all day through too, but yay. (mass pillows to support me sitting up!)

6. This song.

7. Seeing Flash again, it’s funny how attached you can get to such a slobbery beast! He’s kept me company all day :)

8.   The paper swap that the lovely La Wendula has set up :) Swapping with a really nice lady called Beth :) (http://www.birdonthewingflyinghigh.blogspot.com/)

9. My bunnies :)

10. Tea! teateateateatea. teaaaa.

Another note for M.E awareness, my amazingly amazing friend Chlay has a charity single out :)

One month to go and we're getting ready for M.E awareness week. The lovely Chlay is very generously using her song, Silently, to raise funds and awareness to the cause.
It's a beautiful track, with a unique vocal style that hopefully a lot of you will enjoy!
Posters are being put up worldwide, so if you fancy doing your bit, download the track or even print off this poster and stick it up where people will see it.

Hope everyone’s doing okay :)

Wreck this Journal, second installment :)

As promised :) I’ve only done a few more pages of this for now, but am carrying on and making slow progress (after my sister’s friend wrecked it without my permission, hmph)

IMG_9213 Creased front paaageIMG_9214 IMG_9215  The ‘make your own paper aeroplane’ page attached to the back page with a piece of ribbon :)IMG_9217 I redid this page cause I wasn’t happy with it, so lots of clarinet reeds, christmas cards, ribbon and 20p’s.IMG_9218 I put this zentangle on thinking that sewing would be easy – on paper it really, really isn’t, so i ripped off the pattern i’d glued on (which took half the paper with it) and made a nice simple heart! IMG_9219 Strips with sellotape (cause it was a ‘glue this page together’ as well)IMG_9220 But i’d already glued the page so it went through to the draw a line page, oops IMG_9221 You can’t see the hot chocolate as much as i wanted, it was nicely patterned when I did it, the dog keeps trying to eat the biscuit though.. IMG_9222 IMG_9223 And finally, side views!

Does anyone else have one? Blog about it and share in comments :)

Wreck this journal (very picture heavy)

Long time no post, so time for a new background and new thing to write about.  I recently bought a book called ‘wreck this journal’ where in case you hadn’t guessed, the aim is to wreck the journal.  My camera died before i had chance to take a photo of the front of the book (and the attachments) but i’ll update you on them :)

It’s really fun to do, and has given me something to do during my sleepless nights which are way too frequent at the moment.

DSCN3328My fingers are covering my address ;P Also on this page it says ‘if found, open to a random page, follow instruction then return’ DSCN3329 DSCN3330 Fun page to do :) DSCN3332 DSCN3334 I didn’t enjoy this, was too wrecky for me!DSCN3335 Fun funDSCN3336 Yay for circlesDSCN3337 Baha, this is disgusting, but also fun ;) DSCN3338 DSCN3339 (dropped off my gramps’ roof!)DSCN3340 DSCN3341 I officially have no craft stuff left.. it didn’t turn out as nicely as i wanted it to (or at all for that matter)DSCN3342 Collecting stamps has never been so fun ;)DSCN3344 My oh so exciting bagDSCN3347They took the idea of wrecking it rather literally ;)  DSCN3348Some of the stuff i stuck on fell off, but i’m going to re-glue soon :) DSCN3349 LushhhhhhhDSCN3350 DSCN3351 DSCN3352 DSCN3353DSCN3354DSCN3355

Remember to make rainbows you need both rain and sunshine

Hello to all the Dasies Sugar and Buttercups readers,

It's not Rosie here (I can hear you awwing from here) but instead it's me, Jaz, hi everyone *does a little wave*.

Compared to Rosie, I can't write amazing posts that move people with the photos, or even use google to find some luke warm photos. But I'll give it a go, show Rosie the love and all that, yes yes? Because we love our Rosiepants*
"Life is like a rainbow, you need both sun and rain for the colours to appear"

"Have faith in your dreams and someday your rainbow will come smiling through. No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep believing, the dream that you wish will come true"

I hope everyone is shining like a rainbow**

Love Jaz
*Rosiepants is the name I call her and it is strictly mine, anyone caught calling her that will have their rainbow taken
** I think that is the soppiest thing I've ever written.
